Having previously won the French GP in the previous series, Stoner back on the highest podium at Catalunya on Sunday (06/05/2011).

Andrea Dovizioso (Honda) finished behind Spies, followed by Valentino Rossi (Ducati) who failed to repeat the achievements of the third podium at Le Mans last.
Marco Simoncelli of the San Carlo Honda Gresini who winning pole position meanwhile could only finish in sixth position, after a start with the bad.
